David E. Samuel

Dr. Samuel received his undergraduate degree in biology and zoology at the University of Maryland in College Park, MD in 1986. He then attended medical school at the Temple University School of Podiatry Medicine in Philadelphia. After graduating in 1990, he completed his residency in foot and ankle surgery at Crozer-Keystone Health Systems in Chester, Pennsylvania. He started Foot & Ankle Specialists of Delaware County, in 1994 and he has been  involved with training the foot and ankle surgical residents of the Crozer Keystone podiatric surgical residency program since then. He is a clinical instructor and preceptor with the Crozer Keystone Family Practice Residency Program and the Geriatric Residency Program. Dr. Samuel serves as Chief of the Department of Podiatric Foot and Ankle Surgery at the Crozer Keystone Health System. 

Dr. Samuel is board certified by the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery and a Fellow of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons. He is a member of the American Podiatric Medical Association, as well as the Pennsylvania Podiatric Medical Association. He has been named by Main Line Today Magazine, one of Philadelphia’s ‘Top Docs’ numerous times over his career. Dr. Samuel also provides services to the legal and insurance industries as an expert in foot and ankle medicine and surgery. He reviews legal and workers compensations cases, utilization, peer reviews, and disability cases, as well as performing independent medical evaluations.
